The embattled Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter is feeling the heat. Following the 1-0 loss to SuperSport United in a DSTV Premiership match played at FNB stadium, he lashed back at the Chiefs fans who were calling for his head, saying he must resign. Baxter, knows that he is a dead man walking should Amakhosi fail to finish second this season and qualify for the CAF Champions League.

Baxter says if the Chairman of the club Kaizer Motaung wants him out, he will walk: “I don’t have any message for the fans; if they want me to go I will go. If the chairman says to me Stuart I don’t think you have a job then I will walk I got no problem in doing that. I will walk myself if I think I don’t have I affect the team in a positive way”

Amakhosi have been blowing hot and cold, recently dropped three valuable points that could have closed the gap between them and the second placed Royal AM side down to two points with two games in hand (the two outstanding matches that are subject to court processes).

With Chiefs failing to beat, yet another struggling side as they succumbed to their sixth loss of the season, Baxter remained defiant in face of the fight the fans are bringing on.
